Vendor Network
Finding a reliable contractor in Pakistan is largely luck. We are building a network of vendors who have been checked by engineers — and we take no commission from any of them on your job, so a recommendation means what it says.
ABA earns nothing from your job with a listed vendor. Vendors pay to be in the network and nothing else. A recommendation you have paid for is not a recommendation, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Where a vendor offers a reduced rate to ABA clients, that reduction goes to you in full. It is stated here, before you engage them, so you can hold the vendor to it.
Anyone can publish a list of contractors. Before a vendor appears here we check registration and tax status, previous completed work, and references from clients they have actually built for.
ABA introduces vendors; the contract is between you and the vendor. We will help you structure the payment schedule and scope so that the risk is managed — see the Building Diagnostic — but we do not guarantee a third party's workmanship.
A listing in a network used by an engineering firm that delivers projects for Siemens, DP World, Shell Pakistan, UBL and alBaraka Bank — and by the domestic clients who come to us for assessments.
We do not take a cut of your work. We send you enquiries that have already been technically scoped, which means less time quoting jobs that were never real.
There is no listing charge while the network is being built. If that changes, you will be told before it applies to you, and nothing will be deducted from any job in the meantime.
Before you are listed we will ask to see firm registration and NTN, evidence of completed work of the type you are applying for, and two client references we can telephone.
We will also ask what rate reduction you are willing to offer ABA clients. It is not compulsory, and it is published exactly as you state it — so offer only what you will honour every time.
Being removed from the network is straightforward: a client complaint we investigate and uphold.
